A free daily crossword in your browser, with nothing to download: every day there’s a new one, the same for everyone, with 12 words crossing in a grid of up to 13 × 13. Tap a square or a clue and type the answer.
The clues are about painting, books, music and Arcadópolis, and they come in the interface language, English or Spanish. In Spanish, accents don’t count and Ñ is a letter of its own. If you want more, Practice has as many crosswords as you like.
It’s a stained-glass window: each square is a pane of frosted glass between lead lines and, when you complete a word correctly, its panes light up in its theme’s color (ruby for painting, sapphire for books, emerald for music and amber for Arcadópolis) and its chime rings; when you finish, the whole window glows. It’s one of the 51 games in the Games folder.

How to play
- Open the Games folder and tap Daily Crossword.
- Tap a square (again to switch between across and down) or tap a clue.
- Type the answer; the letters you share with other words help you solve them.
- When every word is right, the whole window lights up.
What are the clues about?
Each word has its theme and color. Painting clues ask about painters and pictures, like who painted “Las Meninas”; book clues, about authors and characters; music clues, about instruments, composers and terms; and Arcadópolis clues, about places and things on the site itself, like its Museum and Library.
If a clue won’t come, start with the short words and the ones that already have crossing letters. Check tells you which letters are wrong without giving you the answer.
Practice, streaks and records
The daily crossword counts toward your streak: finish it several days in a row and your streak grows; skip a day and it starts over. Practice gives you a new crossword whenever you like, without touching your streak. The clock keeps your best time, and if you close the window halfway through, you pick up where you left off.
Common questions
Does the crossword change every day?
Yes, at midnight, Mexico City time. The daily crossword is the same for everyone playing in that language.
Do accents count?
No: you type the letters without accents. In Spanish, Ñ is a separate letter.
Can I do more than one crossword a day?
Yes. Besides the daily crossword, Practice has as many as you like.
