Blackjack
Free online blackjack, no real money
Free blackjack in your browser, with nothing to download and no real money: you bet with table chips, which can’t be bought or exchanged for anything. Hit, stand, double or split to get as close to 21 as you can without going over and beat the dealer.
It’s a felt table with a 6-deck shoe that gets reshuffled when the cut card comes up, like at a serious casino. Blackjack pays 3 to 2 and the dealer stands on all 17s. You start with 1,000 table chips and, if you run out, the house gives you another 1,000 right away.
It lives in the Games folder of Arcadópolis, a retro desktop with 51 games in one place, and it works on computers, tablets and phones.

What it has
- Bets from 2 to 100 chips per hand, with chips worth 2, 10, 20 and 50.
- Hit, stand, double on any two cards (also after splitting), split up to 4 hands and surrender to get half back.
- Insurance when the dealer shows an ace, paying 2 to 1.
- A hint with basic strategy for 6 decks: it tells you the best play for every hand.
- When you win, your cards sing, and an unfinished hand is saved if you close the window.
- Its own table chips, separate from the sticker tokens: 1,000 to start and another 1,000 whenever you run out.
How to play
- Open the Games folder and tap Blackjack.
- Tap the chips to build your bet and deal.
- Look at your total and the dealer’s face-up card: hit, stand, double, or split if you have a pair.
- If your hand ends closer to 21 than the dealer’s without going over, you win your bet; with blackjack, 3 to 2.
Table rules
Face cards count 10 and an ace counts 1 or 11, whichever helps you more. An ace and a 10-value card as your first two cards is blackjack. The dealer hits up to 16 and stands on 17 or more; if you go over 21 you lose, even if the dealer busts too.
Split aces get one card each. If the dealer shows an ace or a 10, they check for blackjack before play goes on.
When to hit and when to stand
Basic strategy is the play that loses the least in the long run. With 13 to 16, stand if the dealer shows 2 to 6 and hit against 7 through ace; with 12, stand only against 4, 5 or 6; with 11, double unless the dealer shows an ace; and always split a pair of aces or eights. The Hint button tells you on every hand, so you learn as you play.
