Avatars

Free online avatar maker: 2D, 3D and pixel art

Avatars is a free avatar maker that runs in your browser, with nothing to download: you build your character by tapping options and see it right away in three styles, 2D, 3D and pixel art. You pick the face, hair, eyes, mouth, accessories, clothes and a pose, and everything saves by itself.

It’s the same avatar all over Arcadópolis: it shows up on your profile, on the taskbar, in your seat at the Dominoes table, in online games and in your reactions. In the 3D worlds, with the third-person view, you can watch it walk.

Free, no ads, nothing to install.

How to use it

  1. Open Avatars from its desktop icon or the start menu, or step into the photo booth in Arcadópolis Plaza.
  2. Choose 2D, 3D or Pixel art above the preview.

  4. No need to save: your avatar saves itself. In “React”, pick a gesture and a phrase and share the link.

What can I customize?

The shape of the head (round, oval, square or heart), the skin tone, the nose and 11 hairstyles, from a buzz cut to an afro, a bun, pigtails or curls. There are also 6 eye types, 6 brow styles and 6 mouths, 5 beard and mustache options and details like blush, freckles or a beauty mark. Under Accessories you’ll find round or square glasses, sunglasses, a monocle or a visor, and for your head, a cap, a beanie, a top hat, headphones or a crown. Clothes can be a T-shirt, hoodie, shirt or turtleneck, and the pose decides whether your 3D avatar stays calm, waves or dances.

What does it look like in 3D and pixel art?

In 3D you turn it by dragging and zoom with the scroll wheel or by pinching; it blinks, moves its eyes and its lighting changes with your theme. The pixel art isn’t a filter: every feature is drawn at 32 × 32 pixels, with a large portrait that blinks and a full-body figure that walks and waves. In “Avatar style in menus” you choose which one shows on the taskbar and your profile, or leave it on Automatic: pixel art on pixel themes, 3D on modern themes and 2D on the rest.

Common questions

Do I need an account to make my avatar?

No. Your avatar is saved on your device. With an account it follows you to your other devices, and it’s the one other players see when you play online.

Can I download my avatar as an image?

Yes. In the Pixel art style, the “Save PNG” button downloads your avatar as a crisp 512 × 512 pixel image.

What are reactions?

Your avatar acts out one of 12 gestures and says one of 18 ready-made phrases, like “Well played!” or “Rematch!”. You share the link and whoever opens it sees it in their own language. The phrases are fixed and the link doesn’t carry your nickname, so they always stay respectful and never carry personal data.
