Free 3D golf in your browser, with nothing to download: nine holes, par 29, among the ruins of the Fields of Arcadia, a huge meadow drawn in cel-shading. Drag back and let go to shoot, like a slingshot: the arrow shows direction and power.

Every hole has its wind, and the weather vane by the tee shows which way it blows. The stream and the lagoon cost a stroke, there are sand bunkers, and the ruins really get in the way: the carousel, the colonnade, the aqueduct over the ravine and the tower. The club is chosen for you by distance (wood, iron, wedge or putter), and you can change it.

Play alone or take turns, 2 to 4 on the same device, with a scorecard, records and achievements. From the Games folder you get there directly, with the start card open. It’s one of the 51 games in Arcadópolis.

What it has

  • Nine holes, par 29: seven par 3s and two par 4s.
  • Different wind on every hole, with its weather vane.
  • Four clubs: wood, iron, wedge and putter.
  • In the water or out of bounds, one extra stroke; at most par + 5 per hole.
  • Alone or 2 to 4 taking turns, with a scorecard and records.
  • Achievements for finishing the round, finishing at par and playing with others.

How to play

  1. Open the Games folder and tap Golf: you arrive at the Fields of Arcadia with the start card open.
  2. Choose how many players and start.
  3. Check the weather vane, turn the view with ◀ ▶ and drag back to load the shot; let go to shoot.
  4. Sink the ball in as few strokes as you can; the scorecard adds up all nine.

Controls

With the mouse or your finger, drag back from anywhere on the screen and let go. On the keyboard, ◀ ▶ (or A and D) turn the view, holding Space loads the power and releasing it shoots, and 1 to 4 choose the club. The V key shows the whole hole from above.

For long shots use the wood and aim into the wind; near the green, the wedge lifts the ball over the ruins, and on the green the putter rolls it.

Common questions

Can I play golf with friends?

Yes, 2 to 4 taking turns on the same device. Each player plays the whole hole and then moves on to the next; the scorecard shows who wins.

Does it work on phones?

Yes: drag back with your finger and let go to shoot. It’s 3D, so on simpler devices the Light performance mode helps.

Where is the course?

In the Fields of Arcadia, a 3D world in Arcadópolis. The Games folder takes you straight there; you can also go from the Travel app on the watch and walk to the stand by the first hole.
